She is all over the news! Her music, her music videos, her love life and, of course, her style is in everyone’s gossip.
She is the person of the moment! The latest was during the CFDA Fashion Awards Gala with this sheer fishnet gown, sparkling with thousands of embedded crystals.
She says “Fashion rules are made to be broken” and we believe in her. She was chosen as 2014 Fashion Icon Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
During this event, all the top designer were there and some awards were given: Joseph Altuzarra won the womenswear award, and the menswear prize went to Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, the duo behind the Public School label. Sisters Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen of The Row won the accessories award.
But the big hit was Rihanna, according to Alexander Wang, one of the nominee:
“I love my girl RiRi,” he said. “She’s fearless. She has guts. Even in sweatpants, she owns it!”
She is a fashion icon, for sure and here we like. We like her music, her videos and her style although she is the only one that can really wear them!
This 26-year-old singer is just the queen of pop. Although Lady Gaga tried to be, Rihanna just is. She knows how to get the spotlight for the best and … for the worst reasons.
