Katy Perry certainly knows how put on a show, and in anticipation for her upcoming Super Bowl halftime performance we’re revisiting some of our favorite costumes of hers from the past.
From the most extravagant show-stoppers to the elegantly understated, we’ve collected the creme de la creme of Katy’s showtime wardrobe.
Can you pick a favorite? We sure can’t.
Glow-In-The-Dark Dress
If this dress was available to everybody, it would be worn every day. Visually stunning and completely adorable, Katy can make a statement even in total darkness.
The Katy Kimono
Katy nailed it from head to toe at the 2013 AMAs with this full on geisha get up. She was totally mesmerizing amongst a moving backdrop of painted oil-paper umbrellas and cherry blossoms.

The Birth Of Katy
In an homage to the classic painting by Sandro Botticelli, Katy descends from the heavens in a giant scallop shell at the 2009 Life Ball in Vienna, Austria. This may be a bit of a throwback, but this costume is definitely one of my personal favorites.
Hershey’s Kisses
Who could ever forget the epic feature of the California Dreamin‘ tour: the foam gun. To make it even more awesome, Katy takes aim at her fans in 50s inspired swimwear fashioned out of “Hershey’s Kiss wrappers.” The paper plumes as ta-ta tassles give the look that Katy Perry va-va-voom we all love.
Hail Katy
In a departure from her usually happy-go-lucky themes, Katy shocked many with her sinfully amazing 2014 Grammy performance of “Dark Horse.” Filled with witchcraft and satanic symbolism, it shows a side of the singer we were all curious about. Plus she looked totally badass.
Tatted Up Katy
Remember those sweet mesh tattoo sleeves that we all bought and only wore once? Well, Katy Perry has one for her whole body and it’s way cooler than anything you could get online.
The Peacock Dress
Elegant and regal: two words that might come to mind when we see this ensemble. She looked absolutely gorgeous and makes us think she needs to wear only purple and blue feathers from now on.
