San Francisco based interior designer Jay Jeffers, is well known for his amazing and unique style, has now launched a book about interior design “Jay Jeffers: Collected Cool”, written by Alisa Carroll, editor of San Francisco Cottages & Gardens.
According to the interior designer: “I want every home to feel collected,”and for that“The furniture, accessories, art and personal objects should come from different periods and be of different materials. And a collection of any sort speaks to the inhabitant; these things are the soul of the house.”
Vivid colors, different patterns and unique shapes, are one of Jeffers reference and unique style. “I never repeat designs, and I don’t have one look or color I impose on my clients ” that’s what makes him unique. So unique that his store is a reflex of it. Cavalier, the new style shop in the Polk Street district of San Francisco is where Jay wants to “gather rare and unusual pieces, so that designers and everyone who loves design can find rare and beautiful things.” You can see some tips from the book here.
