An opulently redesigned penthouse at Millennium Tower just hit the market, and its $9.45 million price makes it easily the most expensive two-bedroom for sale in San Francisco right now.

The penthouse’s makeover is a collaboration between Kendall Wilkinson Design and Black Mountain Development, the same developer behind a very fancy, very expensive Russian Hill condo flip that sold earlier this year. The Millennium penthouse is even more dramatic than that Russian Hill design. Per the brokerbabble, it was “created as a functional ‘objet d’art,'” and its details speak to that description. There are chandeliers, huge windows surrounded by floor-to-ceiling drapes, and moldings and millwork galore.
The two-bedroom condo has three bathrooms, including the marble-walled main bathroom with an ornate slipper tub that looks more like a pewter teacup you can sit inside. One bedroom is as white and dreamy as the main rooms of the condo, while the other bedroom has wood-paneled walls and feels more like a study.
The entire place is so over the top that it feels like something a 10-year-old girl would dream up in her princess fantasies. It comes with two parking spots and, of course, access to all of the amenities that the Millennium provides, from a screening room to a swimming pool (and Millennium-level HOAs, which stack up to $1,934/month).
