Working with high profile clients for premier design firms on both coasts before opening her own Bay Area business in 1999, she has earned a reputation for her classic aesthetic – with a twist.

In her business, a design and interior architectural firm which specializes in residential and small office design – Shelley Gordon Interior Design – she has the opportunity to show that her designs are smartly edited yet comfortable, with an emphasis on functionality and an eye for uniqueness.
When it comes to the heart of the home, even the smallest design detail matters. Shelley is known for creating sophisticated, functional kitchen spaces that work with the daily flow of life – not against it. When she is conceptualizing a living area, “beautiful” is only half of it. She works with a room’s natural light and exterior atmosphere to complement a lush design that’s unique to your home.

Shelley graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute with a BFA in painting and sculpture before earning a Master’s degree in interior architecture and design from the University of California, Berkeley. Her work has been featured in Traditional Home, Better Homes & Gardens, California Home & Design and the San Francisco Chronicle, where, in she was chosen as a “Hot New Name to Watch” in the Bay Area.
